Eugene Wamalwa, the leader of the Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K), has sharply criticized Azimio leader Raila Odinga.
This comes after for his recent comments claiming to have rescued the Kenya Kwanza government from collapse.
Wamalwa accused Odinga of not rescuing Kenyans from the Ruto administration but instead saving the regime itself and boasting about it.
He questioned how the Azimio coalition could continue to oversee and oppose a government they are actively supporting, labeling the situation as untenable.
In a scathing remark on social media platform X, Wamalwa suggested that Odinga’s actions were akin to running with the hare and hunting with the hounds.
Raila Odinga’s comments came after he visited Toi Market in Nairobi, where a devastating fire had killed at least four people.
During his visit, Odinga claimed that President William Ruto’s administration had admitted failure and sought assistance from his team after protests from Generation Z.
Odinga emphasized that the newly appointed members of the Cabinet, including prominent figures from his own party (ODM). And added that they were experts who would bring positive change.
The recent reconstitution of the Cabinet saw the inclusion of several ODM members in key ministerial positions.
And while some have already been vetted, others, including Beatrice Askul, are awaiting their vetting appointments.
