Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has pledged to gift Nuru Okanga a three-bedroom house and Ksh 1.3 million to help him start a business.
This promise was made during an appearance on the Obinna Show. Oscar Sudi expressed his desire to support Okanga, a staunch supporter of the opposition leader Raila Odinga.
Sudi’s motivation for this generous offer stems from a desire to bridge political divides and foster goodwill among constituents.
Despite their differing political affiliations, Sudi believes in uplifting individuals who show potential and dedication.
He stressed that such gestures are vital for community building and that everyone deserves a chance to succeed.
Nuru Okanga reacted with immense gratitude to Sudi’s promise. He expressed his surprise and appreciation, stating that this support would significantly change his life.
Okanga shared that he struggled to make ends meet and that the house and funds would provide stability.
With the Ksh 1.3 million, Okanga plans to start a small business focusing on retail. He envisions creating a shop that will cater to the needs of his community, providing essential goods and services.
This entrepreneurial venture is not just a means of income for him, it is also a way to contribute positively to his neighborhood.
Okanga hopes the business will create jobs and enhance the local economy.
Interestingly, there are no specific conditions attached to Sudi’s gift. He has made it clear that his intention is purely to support Okanga without expecting anything in return.
This aspect of the promise has resonated well with the public, although some have trolled Oscar sudi
Nuru Okanga recently faced a daunting challenge when his son, Kadri Maloba, was hospitalized for over three months due to kidney failure.
The mounting medical expenses had taken a toll on the family, forcing Okanga to sell two of his cows in a desperate attempt to cover the costs.
Despite seeking help from his political allies within the Azimio coalition, only a few responded, leaving Okanga in a difficult situation.
However, Interior CS Kithure Kindiki, moved by Okanga’s plight, settled his son’s hospital bill, providing relief.
