A tragic incident unfolded in Makindu, Makueni County, where a man allegedly hacked his brother to death during funeral preparations for another sibling.
The area chief, Rosemary Kathuku, reported that the violent confrontation occurred shortly after the family returned from viewing the deceased’s body at the morgue.
The altercation took place in Malivini village. Eyewitnesses described how tensions escalated into a heated argument between the two brothers.
The dispute quickly turned violent, with the suspect reportedly attacking his brother with a machete. The motive behind this brutal act remains unclear.
