Diamond grew up in Tandale, a busy neighborhood in Dar es Salaam. Life wasn’t easy for his family. They struggled financially, but his mother worked hard to support him and his siblings. From a young age, Diamond showed a strong interest in music. He would often perform in local talent shows and sing along to songs on the radio, dreaming of becoming a star one day.
Education
Diamond started his education at Chakula Bora Nursery School in 1995. After completing nursery school, he went on to attend Tandale Magharibi Primary School. He was an average student but very active in school activities, especially those involving music and drama.
In 2003, Diamond enrolled at Tandale Magharibi Secondary School. Here, his love for music grew even stronger. Despite his passion, he knew that education was important and worked hard to balance both his studies and his love for music. He completed his secondary education in 2006.
The Struggle Before Fame
After finishing school, Diamond wanted to pursue music seriously. However, his family did not have the money to support his dream.
