A family in Eastleigh, Nairobi County, mourns the tragic loss of three members—a mother and her two daughters—who went missing on October 21, 2024.
Authorities identified the victims as Waris Daud, her 22-year-old daughter Amina Abdirashid, and her 11-year-old niece Nuseiba Dahir.

The Disappearance
Waris left home on Monday morning for a skin examination. However, she did not return by 11 p.m., which worried her daughters. said Sumeya Noor, a relative of the family.
Concerned for their mother’s safety, Amina and Nuseiba decided to search for her. CCTV footage captured them outside making a phone call before a vehicle, believed to be a taxi, arrived to pick them up.

Discovery of the Bodies
After a prolonged search, authorities discovered Amina and Nuseiba’s bodies in Bahati and Parklands. Both girls showed signs of violence that suggested foul play. Noor recounted.
Shortly thereafter, investigators found Waris’s body in a thicket in Machakos County, also showing signs of violence.
The family now grapples with the loss of their loved ones and urgently seeks justice for these heinous crimes.
